The Council is chaired by the President Koen De Feyter. The Vice-Chair is Nadine Gouzée.
The Council consists of eight active members and eight alternate members. The members of the Council were appointed by Ministerial Decree on 29 April 2021.

Two active members and two alternate members of the French-speaking academic world. The active members for the French-speaking academic world are Philippe Baret and An Ansoms. The alternate members are Sebastian Santander and Julie Hermesse.
Two active members and two alternate members of the Dutch-speaking academic world. The active members for the Dutch-speaking academic world are Koen De Feyter and Constanza Para. The alternate members are Pascal Boeckx and Robert Malina.
Two active members and two alternates of the French-speaking coordination of international solidarity organisations, the CNCD 11.11.11-National Centre for Development Cooperation. The active members of the CNCD 11.11.11- National Centre for Development Cooperation are Nadine Gouzée and Arnaud Zacharie. Alternate members are Sophie Wintgens and Thierry Aerts.
Two active members and two alternates of the Dutch-speaking coordination of international solidarity organisations, Koepel van de Vlaamse Noord-Zuidbeweging – 11.11.11. The two active members of the Dutch-speaking coordination are Thierry Kesteloot and Rudy De Meyer. The alternate members are Katelijne Suetens and Karin Debroey.
